Commentary Excellence

this group of gentlemen have turned their natural chemistry as friends and respected peers into a media juggernaut that is only capable of obliterating the obstacles out before. They have become the voice of an overworked yet underestimated generation of creatives of all kinds but black especially. This is a podcast that not only MUST be recognized, but WILL be recognized whether you do or not. swag

Honestly, this first time listener might soon be a last time listener. Joe Budden is the undisputed champion in the podcast world. This was the other podcast I would listen religiously with The Bodega Boys. I feel this podcast is becoming a victim of its own success but also what every other medium suffers from. The views (or listens). I can’t help but feel like there is a constant chase for “moments” or viral sound bites. The attention seeking situations are a bit unauthentic. This podcast is becoming the very same thing they usually criticize on the show. I like the diversity of opinion the new team is bringing. Even though the unpopular opinion schtick can get old really fast. Sometimes certain members of the podcast sound like the kind of people who say: “I’m not racist but…”. There is also the matter of the accuracy of what is said. I get that this is not the news but podcasters should be more careful with “information” or the opinions they share as truths. Hopefully this is just a phase of readjustment after all the changes and brouhaha from the recent drama. Much love to the team. A music podcast spin-off would amazing.
