The MadHouse Max Rios

This film was written and directed by Alex Garland and produced by A24. The film stars Kirsten Dunst, Wagner Moura, Cailee Spaeney, Stephen McKinely Henderson & Nick Offerman. In this film, a group of journalists are making their way through a modern day Civil War from New York to Washington DC, with deadly forces from both the US military and local militias tracking their moves and the enemy. This film was released in March 2024 at the South By Southwest Film Festival before its national theatrical release in April.

This spinoff series is set between the 2nd and upcoming 3rd “Sonic The Hedgehog” movies. Idris Elba returns to voice the titular character and is joined by live action characters from the movies such Adam Polly & Tika Sumpter and are joined by newcomers Stockard Channing, Elle Taylor, Kid Cudi, Christopher Lloyd, Rory McCann & Cary Elwes. This 6 episode series is available now on Paramount+.

This film was co written, co produced, directed and stars Dev Patel in his directorial debut. In this film, after a young boy witnessed his mother killed by a corrupt police officer, he vows to take revenge and after he grows up and takes on the identity of legendary hero, he executes his master plan. This film debut at the South By SouthWest Film Festival in March of 2024 before hitting theaters nationwide in April. Jordan Peele also serves as a producer on the film.

This sequel to the 2023 previous film was once again co written and directed by Zack Snyder and sees a majority of the main cast return including Sofia Boutella, Djimon Hounsou, Ray Fisher, Ed Skrein and Doona Bae. In this film, following the events of the previous film, a former military officer turn rebel leader assembles a team of soldiers who must fight against this galactic empire in order to protect their home planet. Like this the previous film, this one hit Netflix in April of 2024 with promises of director’s cuts for both films to be released as well as possible sequel in the future.

This horror film was directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olson and stars Melissa Barrera, Kathryn Newton, Dan Stevens, Kevin Durand, Giancarlo Esposito & Alisha Weir. In this film, a group of kidnappers have taken a young hostage inside her mansion where they wait further instructions. However, they soon realize this young girl may not be so innocent as they think. This film also stars Angus Cloud in his final film before his untimely death at the age of 25 in July of 2023. The film was dedicated to him by the studio.

This Sci-Fi thriller was released in the summer of 2023 at the Tribeca Film Festival and then hit theaters nationwide in January of 2024. The film is directed by Gabriela Cowperthwaite and stars Ariana DeBose, Chris Messina & John Gallagher Jr. In this film, 6 scientists are up in the International Space Station, 3 from the US & 3 from Russia, working together but their relationship is shattered when they learn that on Earth, Russia has launched a nuclear attack on the US.
