    A Franco-American and Moroccan journalist, editor, and fiction writer whose captivating work has graced prominent platforms in the U.S. and Europe.
    Rana Asfour - Managing Editor (Amman/London)
    A versatile writer and book reviewer whose literary insights have graced the pages of esteemed publications like The Guardian UK and The National/UAE. Beyond her prowess with the written word, Rana brings a dynamic background, having contributed to the realms of radio and TV in Amman.
    Lina Mounzer - Senior Editor (Beirut)
    A Lebanese writer and translator, whose literary prowess shines through her contributions to renowned publications such as The New York Times, The Paris Review, Freeman’s, The Washington Post, and The Baffler. 
    Malu Halasa - Literary Editor (London)
    A distinguished London-based writer and editor. In her latest role as an editor, she presents "Woman Life Freedom: Voices and Art From the Women’s Protests in Iran" (Saqi 2023), adding another remarkable entry to her extensive body of work.
    Mohammad Rabie - Arabic Editor (Cairo/Berlin)
    Berlin-based writer and editor whose literary contributions extend to four novels in Arabic: "Kawkab Anbar," "Year of the Dragon," "Otared," and "History of the Gods of Egypt." The English translation of "Otared" by Robin Moger earned a nomination for the International Prize for Arabic Fiction in 2016.

    Pour ce troisième podcast Radio Tabbouli, TMR vous emmène à la Biennale des Arts de la Scène en Méditerranée pour sa 2ème édition. Nous y rencontrerons deux femmes engagées, Giovanna Tanzarella et Simone Bitton, pour une Méditerranée ouverte où l'art, les discussions et les idées circulent.
    Au menu : l’interview de Giovanna Tanzarella chercheuse et actrice de la société civile qui est intervenue dans le cadre d’une conférence sur le thème : L’art et la culture en Méditerranée : des liens solides entre deux rives ? Pour Giovanna "l’art et la culture sont le sang qui circule dans le corps des pays" . Nous continuerons avec la rencontre de la cinéaste Simone Bitton invitée à une projection-débat de son documentaire de 1991 Conversation Nord-Sud: une discussion entre Serge Daney et Elias Sanbar. Simone nous parle de son histoire en tant que juive marocaine, de ses engagements, de sa passion pour le cinéma et de l’indépendance de ses opinions.

    For this third episode of the Radio Tabbouli podcast, TMR takes you to the 2nd Biennial of Performing Arts in the Mediterranean. Here, we meet two women who are committed to an open Mediterranean in which art, discussion and ideas circulate: Giovanna Tanzarella and Simone Bitton.
    On the menu: an interview with Giovanna Tanzarella, researcher and civil society actress, who was invited to speak at a conference on the theme: "Art and Culture in the Mediterranean: Strong Links between Two Shores?" For Giovanna, "art and culture are the blood that circulates in the bodies of countries." In the second part of the episode, we meet filmmaker Simone Bitton, who has been invited to the event for a screening of her 1991 documentary, "Conversation Nord-Sud: a discussion between Serge Daney and Elias Sanbar.” Simone discusses her history as a Moroccan Jew, her commitments, her passion for cinema and the independence of her opinions.

    For this second Radio Tabbouli podcast, TMR takes you to the 45th edition of the CINEMED Festival - Montpellier's International Festival of Mediterranean Cinema. We meet two young directors, Lina Soualem and Cyril Aris, for two documentaries in competition.
    On the menu: an interview with Lina Soualem and her mother, actress Hiam Abbass, for the documentary "Bye Bye Tiberias," following in the footsteps of four generations of Palestinian women. We continue with an interview with director Cyril Aris for his documentary "Dancing on the edge of a Volcano," which takes us to Lebanon in the aftermath of the explosion in the port of Beirut, at the heart of the filming of Costa Brava, Lebanon.

    For this first Radio Tabbouli podcast from TMR, we take you behind the scenes of the Arabesques Festival at Montpellier's Halle Tropisme for two evenings of the current alternative scene. We meet Imed, Khalil, Petra and Hany: 4 eclectic artists. What do they have in common? They draw their inspiration from traditional Arab music, which they revisit with electronic sounds.
    On the menu: an interview with Imed Alibi, followed by Khalil Epi, musicians and co-founders of the group Frigya, produced by the Shouka label, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary.
