"We put the body in the coffin in the ground on time!"
Rival undertakers, what could go wrong? This answer is everything. Everything can and will go wrong for Rudyard and Antigone Funn, who run the only funeral parlor on the small island of Pifflin in the British Channel, when dashing newcomer Eric Chapman comes to the village (almost a town you know!)
The rest of the show absolutely lives up to this fantastic premise. It's one of the funniest things I've ever listenned to, fast-paced while allowing a lot of character development, so while the rivalry has lasted for the 3 seasons of the show, it's never static, the season ended yesterday and already I can't wait for the next one.
Funny and full of wit
Finished the two seasons in only two-days! I simply couldn't stop.
The characters are all great and we can easily picture them.
Very well-written, great rhythm and original story.
The language and the plot are simple and universal and I think I will use parts of the podcast for my students who are learning English !
This podcast is my favorite discovery of this beginning of 2017 and I wish I could have been to their live performances !
Monsieur
Loved it...humour so British and missed by me as I live in France. Hope no mice were hurt in the production!
