Tardigrade Love Fest: LIVE From Converse Creative Spirits (Part 1)

Tardigrade Love Fest: LIVE From Converse Creative Spirits (Part 1)

In December 2015, the Space Life crew were invited by Converse to participate in their Creative Spirits event.
We broadcasted live from the centre of Cape Town for 2 days, which we're bringing to you in a 3-part mid-season special.

    In part 1:
The crew is joined by Gareth Kemp from the University of Johannesburg to discuss String Theory and the make up of the universe.

Howard Fyvie pops by to discuss his micro-budget South African zombie film, Last Ones Out, which he wrote and directed. The SA film industry is discussed in general, and there's even a bit of Star Wars talk in there.

Also discussed, Googles digital art. Can a machine create? What is Art?
Oceanic garbage, electric plants, rocket landings, space elevators, sea monkey class systems, tardigrades and much much more.

Ps. This is a live episode, recorded at an event. And therefore there is music in the background and sounds not quite so common to Space Life.

In today's episode, Noah's Quantum Ark, the crew chat to Tanya and Roxy, calling in from the Cradle of Humankind, who got a good look at Homo-Naledi, and share some of their insights on this potentially world changing and controversial discovery.

The crew tried, Miracle Frooties, a little pill / berry that turns sour and bitter food sweet.

And in the round up, Child Pornography, the 90’s tv show Reboot, skeletons found in trees, developments in quantum computing, and how Noah's Ark might of been a quantum computer, and we’re just the simulation its created. The first human head transplant, cyborgs and much much more.

It's a jam packed episode. A season finale. An extravaganza!
