Customer Reviews
Great for improving Russian Conversation!
I’m a rather passionate language-learner, and Russian is one of my favourites. For a while, I’ve been aware of a technique called “shadowing,” in which you listen to a recording in your target language and attempt to speak along in synch with it. This podcast is fantastic for this because it not only teaches colloquial Russian phrases, it is spoken entirely in Russian. However, each of the episode notes contains a transcript of the podcast, along with the English translation for each paragraph. I find this really helpful for my shadowing practice, and I feel I’m already learning some fascinating phrases with which to impress the next Russian speaker whose path I cross!
Спасибо, Очень По-Русски, за подкаст!
