My favourite comics podcast
I was looking for a podcast to get recommendations and having tried a few this I enjoy the most. It is quirky, funny and strangely reassuring with its rituals. Its relaxed pace is its charm. One of the presenters often speaks in one word sentences: "I. didn't. doubledipwiththehardcover. because theart. didn't. speaktomeand. all the while. thepanelsdesignswereletdownbytheinking." The guys have a knowledge base that stretches all the way back and in different directions. They also cover comics industry news and analysis although here theres an understandable bias towards the sponsor, one of the big online discount services that is a big threat to the bricks and mortars shops that many people enjoy and want to see survive. There's also a forum with a community as knowledgeable as the podcasters. Recommended.
Simply the best
This has to be the best comic podcast out there. The guys are so knowledgable about everything to do with comics. They go in the so much depth about everything and I’ve learned so much from the guys about the hobby and the art form. I’ve picked up a number of new series from their recommendations and all have been stellar. And to top it off, they’re also great guys and after a few episodes they feel like friends!
