#110. Hatsumoude (初詣、first shrine or temple visit of the year）

Now, the year 2022 has begun.

How did you count down?

Did you party with friends?

Or did you welcome the New Year at home with your family?

In Japan, many people participate in countdown events in Shibuya, or wait in front of shrines and temples for the new year to come, and at midnight, they go into the shrines and temples to pay their respects to the gods for the first time.

I wish everyone in the world happiness in the year 2022.
