Welcome to my Podcast. My name is Robert Mitchell. This Podcast is the weekly podcast of the 2020 Meditation Online Course which I have created and curated. The Course is a year long project (but probably a life-long project in reality), initially designed to teach a new meditation each week throughout 2020 and is now refocused on, for the duration of the crisis, teaching in areas of focus that are designed to support my students through this adversity, and in turn, to help them to support their loved ones. This Podcast is a supporting resource of the 2020 Meditation Course, designed to enable students to listen to meditations and training wherever they are. The Podcast contains a growing library of individual meditations and is also a repository of a select few recorded training sessions given by me in person over the last two years. The Podcast is also free sample content for anyone interested in joining the course so they can learn whether the training is right for them before committing to a subscription. All of the details of the course, and links to the free online sample content on youTube, Facebook and Twitter, is available at https://2020meditation.com. About Me - I teach Mindfulness-Based Resilience and meditation through my personal brands of Bromley Mindfulness in London, England and my online presence of 2020 Meditation. I have taught over 5,000 students of meditation in around 2,000 training sessions. I work with individuals in groups, classes, courses, retreats, and through personal online coaching. I have taught regularly in the UK National Health Service at Darent Valley Hospital since 2014 where over 800 staff have gone through my training. I work with organizations and the local community directly and through my third-sector and local community support partners. I offer concessions and provide pay-wha-you-can-afford options for most of my training for the unwaged, disadvantaged and for marginalized groups. My free 2020 Meditation podcast has had about 25,000 plays and is growing at 30% per month. A Journey Into Mediation

Due to a sports injury in February 2019, I had 10 weeks of recovery which gave me more spare time. I found Bromley Mindfulness and decided to do Robert’s 6 week mindfulness course. I was familIar with meditation and it’s benefits but had not found a way of incorporating it into a regular practice. Robert’s course gave me a better understanding of how the mind works and taught me a number of different meditation and mindfulness strategies to use depending on how you are feeling and a way of developing a regular meditation practice. The benefits cannot be underestimated and has allowed me to become more familiar with the thoughts that flow in and out of my mind and to give the present moment my fullest attention. It is a liberating experience.
Looking forward to continuing the journey through Robert’s 2020 meditation podcast and his weekly online meditation classes. Go on give it a go...it will positively change the way you experience the world around you.
