Do you have a passion for producing, recording, mixing, or mastering music? Do you want to quit your day job so you can focus on your studio full time? Most us are simply musicians who fell into this because of our passion for creating art in the form of better music, better mixes, and better recordings. Very few of us went to business school, have any sort of formal business training, or have experience running businesses in the past. Throughout The Six Figure Home Studio Podcast, Brian Hood and Chris Graham will help you learn what actually matters in this confusing world of business. Don't let the “business stuff” hold you back from running a successful home recording studio.

Changed my life

About half a year ago I luckily stumbled across TSFHS through a facebook ad and watched Brians webinar. At this point I had already watched a handful of webinars from other studio based entrepreneurs, all of which claimed to be able to help you work in the music industry for a living through maxing out credit cards and accruing a load of debt. However Brian’s way of doing things, concentrating on the business aspects of a studio career really stood out to me. It was very refreshing as he was the only studio guy I’ve seen addressing the fact the old ‘expensive studio’ model is dead and you don’t need a fancy facility to be successful.

So I started listening to this podcast and it is honestly incomparable to any other resource/blog/podcast I’ve come across yet. Brian and Chris are both very open minded and give you both sides to certain arguments and topics, this helps you pick and choose certain tools they suggest to create your own path, rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, which wouldn't possibly work like other b/s’ may suggest. It helps that they both started out different to each other and their businesses work the opposite to each other, giving you a variety of tips no matter what your business model is. Whether you’re a total beginner, already earned a few ££££ or doing audio engineering full time, I honestly think anyone can learn something from listening to the podcast. The advice that the podcast has given to me has changed my life and career in such a positive way and I have never felt more confident that I can achieve in running my own business full time.

Chris and Brian have done 50+ episodes together and so i feel they are now at the point where they bounce of each other really well which makes the podcast entertaining to listen to. The added humour takes it a step above your average boring business podcast. If you’re reading this and are thinking of listening to TSFHS podcast, please don’t even consider it and just go for it - you will never look back.

Life Changing

I made the mistake of trying to write down every little nugget of information these guys dish out and I ran out of notepads!

I doesn’t mater if you’ve been making music for 30 minutes or 30 years......

This podcast is essential!!!
