Customer Reviews
Informative, insightful and funny
A wonderful podcast! So engaging, interesting and entertaining. Highly recommended!
Increasingly woke tosh
This has really gone down a tedious woke rabbit hole, which is a shame as the earlier episodes on James were good. Now it’s a lot of obvious statements about C19th writers not having the views of a left leaning middle class type from 2022, quelle surprise! They lack the self awareness to realise that a season on women ghost story writers is patronising. If only their awokening had occurred earlier they could have mixed them in with the men and in the proper context.
The title says it all
Once a memorabilia to M R James but now contain many story’s by many authors not forgetting the interviews with many great people. You can not only get the story but you can get the meanings and influences behind it.
