He takes a deep dive into the anatomy of the anterior cruciate ligament, better known as the ACL located in the knee joint. He discusses how it can tear, surgical or non surgical expectations, timeline of recovery and what to expect along the journey of a person who has torn their ACL. Dr. Rightmire has over 20 years of experience reconstructing ACL's, and is excited about the future of where ACL reconstruction is going and figuring out how to decrease the likelihood of a tear happening and utilizing the best evidence for the person in front of him.
