A real standout - highly recommended

This is one of my favourite podcasts of the last few years. It’s interesting and intelligent but still accessible. It’s culturally nuanced and sensitive. The episodes range from assumptions made about accents to language acquisition and bilingualism.
Dr Sadie Ryan is an engaging host and it’s a treat to hear such a range of voices discussing their passion for linguistics.

A great new addition to the audio soundscape

This podcast is great! I felt entertained, educated and engaged. There are so many issues covered in this but you understand it and you don’t feel patronised.

Sadie’s lovely personality sparkles and she chats to guests and shines through your earphones a you listen. Lovely stuff.
