Customer Reviews
Spookily funny
Intriguing episodes on a wide range of spooky topics and folklore. The hosts are genuinely, naturally funny and their chemistry is great. It all adds up to a relaxing atmosphere and I can see myself bingeing all of their episodes.
The atmosphere is fantastic, with smart use of background music. The topics are treated with respect but with humour. This is exactly the kind of spooky content I’ve been looking for!
It’s squonk hunting season baybeeeeeeeee!
The show starts with a suitably creepy background effect as the hosts introduce themselves. The show immediately moves on to the main content of the episode.
The show works through the background of the case, utilising ‘real’ events and descriptions throughout history giving you the essentials of the case. I love that there is an ‘official’ report of someone capturing a Squonk! The hosts conclude with their own thoughts on the believability of the creature in question.
Both hosts are very likeable as they lightheartedly work their way through the case. The show is well-researched and snappy - episodes come in at 15-30 minutes so far which makes it very tempting to binge through. There is also background music which really set the tone and helped me to enjoy the episode.
Overall, this is a really, really enjoyable show. If you’re looking to bolster your cryptid knowledge or are simply looking for some paranormal entertainment, look no further. Well that’s that for my review, I’m now off to the tax office to register my new Squonk-hunting business.
