A helpful place to start, a helpful place to continue!
I've come to these podcasts through the British Society of Dowsers website & iTunes. The first one I listened to is the Susan Collins one. For someone who has been vaguely interested in dowsing for many years, but not particularly engaged, the Collins podcast got my attention. It's full of practical information about dowsing, the main thing being the importance of using a protocol, to protect yourself and develop the quality of your dowsing. Now, for someone who is starting from scratch (me), the clearly presented protocol and Collins approach is an intelligent & sound way of dowsing and I was glued to the podcast.
As with all the 'Adventures in Dowsing' podcasts, spend some time listening and absorbing; And enjoying. Dowsing covers a surprising range of subjects, not just water location. For me, the advice, ideas and ways of best practice has stopped me accidentally disrespectfully blundering into spaces and as a consequence, the results have been more measured and given me beneficial food for thought. Mainly as I'm keeping the protocol in mind, not stretching myself too far and taking time to check results as I go along (but still have fun). Much more cooperative all round!
These podcasts are a great way to get information out there to you. Try 'em. :)

It seems to be a part of human nature to seek out 'meaning' and connection to past and present culture . This doesn't excuse the active promotion of the cognitive dissonance amongst suseptable people and using scientific sounding words to construct a world view that has repeatedly been shown experimentally to have no substance in nature. What exactly do these people mean by 'energy', 'energy matrix', 'harmonics', etc.?
