I've been listening to this recently & it's really interesting

It goes into a lot of depth, but still accessible for someone with only a passing interest (or at least that was me at that start, I'm now thoroughly hooked!). My only criticism is that sometimes there's sentences said twice that I assume should have been cut out in the editing process. This happened in ep 2 a few times, but most noticeable in ep 3 which has about 3 different ending signoffs. Enjoying it a lot!

Age of Victoria Podcast

The podcast is clearly thoroughly researched and the content is superb. The delivery however is dire. Having just listened to several seconds in the third episode that should have been edited out (deep breathing and muttering ‘oh dear’) I’ve decided it’s unbearable. The previous episodes also had bad editing moments. But mainly it’s the hesitant reading of the script - despite rather obvious attempts to emulate Jamie Jeffers of the British History Podcast!
