Michelle Alexander is the Founder of AKA Life Coaching, which is a Family Life Coaching, Family Support and Early Intervention Service for women. 24 years ago Michelle would have never believed that she would have gone to Buckingham Palace, attended Question Time, become a Manager for 14 Years, have worked in Early Intervention for 6 years (Which is a tier of social care) and now run her own business. Michelle is trained in coaching, management, early intervention, child care and education, healthy relationships, domestic violence, Trauma informed practice, autism and parenting facilitation to name a few. Michelle is also a qualified OCR child care assessor, which she conducted in a corporate nursery chain alongside her managerial role. Even with this experience, she struggled to identify as a business owner. This made her pose the question of "why do women although they are more than skilled hesitate when it comes to business and moving up the career ladder?"
In honour of International Women's Day Michelle will explore the topic with women in business and leadership roles. The women she interview’s will discuss Pro's, Con's, successes, challenges, family life and the things that they had to learn and unlearn to be successful.
