Trust the Man ,

Carefully edited and interesting viticles

I always enjoy these short video/articles (hence viticles!), which I find to be as original, informative and entertaining as the magazine itself. They are also a brilliant length, so even if the content does not grab you they are still worth a 5 minute delve. I couldn't help but notice that the more critical - and overly verbose - reviews below mine were littered with spelling mistakes. This is just the type of sloppy and complacent behaviour which this publication can be proud to rise above and long may their inspiring print and e-journalism continue!

Brand Edge ,

Smug

I am without question a fan and whilst occasionally the magazine can drift into smugness with a sprinkling of being disproportionately pleased with it's self it is almost without equal although Intelligent Life gives it a run for it's money! (But there they are over pleased with there brightness)

What I find disappointing is that when I called there London office to ask where my September issue was it was as if I had called a 6th form common room which had a vague idea that's its running some sort of business.......

Long story short my subscription has expired but I had received no notification of this or a request to re subscribe.

So hears a shout out to you occasional smugee's at Monocle (editor in chief) who delight in pointing out poor service.............you too are running a business and it's the little and none glamorous functions that determine profitability!

Short, snappy, and smart

I like these short videos. The production values are high, and the subject matter is always slightly unexpected.

It's similar to Cool Hunting in a way, but perhaps with a slightly more serious edge.

Overall, highly recommended.
