Magical!

I’ve been a long time listener of Alohomora since the very first episode so decided to leave a review to show my appreciation. The podcast is astounding week after week, there is never an off episode, and it helps keep the magic of our favourite book series alive more than anything (sorry Pottermore!) The hosts are all greatly knowledgable in the series as well as hilariously entertaining, again week after week. I often find myself laughing out loud in public at the things they come out with (which has been the cause of much embarrassment so thanks for that). Kat’s no-nonsense attitude has me nodding along, Rosie’s sweet attitude is so endearing, Kristen is hilarious and so adorable, Eric’s knowledge never ceases to amaze, Caleb’s sass is brilliant, Alison is brilliant in every way, I miss Laura every single episode (come back Laura!), and Michael. Oh Michael. I have such a crush on Michael... Keep up the good work guys! I love every second!

Good but some hosts add nothing

A very fun Podcast with some amazing analytical takes on the chapters of the Potter series. Each episode is packed with detail and humour with the hosts mostly sparking off each other very well.

Eric is very much the leader of the group, easily handling hosting abilities and analysis in an easy going manner.

Michael is a great addition to the cast, bringing warmth and humour to his views as well as a weird collection of voices.

Rosie is the heart, a sweet relaxing voice bringing a British take to a British tale with warmth and knowledge.

Calab brings his love of certain characters, a great delivery and dry wit and some very interesting takes on the scenes.

The only weak link is Kat who brings nothing to the discussions. She's quick to dismiss others when she thinks they are wrong and when the host or guess provide evidence as to why she is wrong, she will not fully accept it. Her constant "Jo is listening" runner also gets tired very fast. I've started to groan whenever I hear she's on an episode.

That aside, a very fun and informative podcast.
