Engrossing

Not at all what I was expecting. This is just as much a study of the insidious nature of mental illness as it is about radicalisation. There are clear parallels between the two which the narrator carefully draws out. It is shocking, perhaps most in the way it unravels a narrative which involves the family the web of conspiracy and truth but is not what they expected. I really felt for the family. But I did think that the narrator tried to give a balanced account and represent the individuals as well as he could.
