Andy McAslan - A Follicular Lymphoma Diagnosis The Athlete Welfare Podcast

Andy McAslan, a middle-distance runner was diagnosed this year with an incurable blood Cancer; Stage 4 Non-Hodgkin Follicular Lymphoma. 

Andy recently took to social media in the hope to begin a major fund-raising campaign to help find a cure for the rare blood Cancer.  At the age of 25, Andy now has to endure 6 hours of IV immune-chemotherapy every 4 weeks instead of training to maximise his utmost potential on the track. In Andy's words; "I will keep having to go through these treatments as long as there isn't a cure out there, and once I have exhausted them all, there won't be another option to turn to."
