As a relaive new comer to the world of Anime i have to say that any in depth conversation about topcs i am unfamilier with is very welcome. I like the way tha AnnCast manages to invoke the spirit of a casual yet informed conversation between freinds about matters that are dear and important to them! I find myself always coming away from these broadcasts better infomred and enlightened that any other Anime podcast i have listened to! While some may not be as good others, the vast majority have been very good and i really liked last weeks E3 Game review, those 3 hours flew by! Arigato!
Fantastic Podcast
Hands down the best anime podcast out there. The interviews with guests are nearly always fascinating to hear, and the range of types of guest is nicely diverse.
The more casual shows, in which the panel simply discusses what they've been watching and answers twitter questions are also fantastic, and make for really great and imformative listening.
Perhaps most importantly, Zac and Justin always manage to discuss every topic they cover in an interesting and informative way, and they have some extremely interesting things to say. I partiuclarly enjoy the occasional rants that they both go on!
If you're at all interested in the anime industry, or just want to hear genuinley good anime criticism, I can't recommend this show highly enough!
Smartass Fun for Bad People
It's always a pleasure to listen to Zack and Justin (when present) rants against human condition and society in general. There are some anime and manga discusions as bonus included but its not the main reason why I listen to ANNcast. Don't take me wrong, I really like anime, manga and alll that jazz but it's not my only interest or reason to live. I higly reccomend this podcast especially the episodes non strictly anime related.
