Overflow #112
Not much new stuff in this week so of necessity I raided the archive for some standout tracks, a good proportion of which are Antipodean. Of the new stuff I was very impressed by the new one from Filed Fangs, which sees them going in a slightly different direction musical. Also very keen on Lucy Kruger’s new one which is just as good as the previous, an unsung talent. Mike Murray sent me his new album which crosses over between jazz and rock so it gets an outing on all three of my shows. Finally Efrim Menuck has dug up some old pre-Godspeed tapes which have been labelled as GS!YBE and consist of a melange of material which takes some absorbing but there are some gems in there.
