    128: Has crypto grown up?

In this episode, we’re going to give you some exclusive content that we’ve selfishly kept all to ourselves. From this year's Money20/20 we’ve got an awesome panel on the state of crypto and whether or not it has grown up (00:54).

As legal and regulatory frameworks develop, we hear about how the industry is instilling transparency, integrity, and accountability to demonstrate that crypto is growing up and evolving into a sustainable asset class. The panel was hosted by:

Sandra Ro - CEO of Global Blockchain Business Council

And she was joined on stage by:

Michel Rauchs - Cryptocurrency & Blockchain Lead at the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance
Asaf Meir - CEO at Solidus Labs
Max Boonen - CEO at B2C2

If that wasn’t enough, we also talked to Asaf (31:01) and Max (40:49) about their respective companies and what they’re doing in the industry.

Fast becoming my favourite podcast!

I was introduced to this podcast in May this year and since then I’ve listened to the entire back catalogue on my commute and absolutely enjoyed every second. Brilliant and refreshing content about blockchain that really cuts through the noise.

Professional, Informative & Brilliant

The Blockchain Insider Podcast is excellent. The quality is professional, content informative and overall it’s down-right brilliant.

For the purist, it’s more cryptocurrency than blockchain but that shouldn’t stop you listening.

They are an invaluable source of blockchain learning.

Show degradation

I have listened to 51 of these podcasts in 1 month. The show started out as a brilliant and informative platform for blockchain and DLT. Excellent insights, great guests and very well put together. But since the April/May shows, the quality has become appalling. These repeated and stupid jokes about “fields” continue. The level of swearing and filthy language has increased. References to Jesus Christ are mentioned. It is just shocking! How on earth do the producers of this show think that any professional in the field of finance or banking would ever approach 11FS for advisory services or even continue listening to this childish garbage (crypto kitty references) is beyond me! This show needs to grow up. You are talking about technology that will change the way the world functions and yet the behaviour on the show is no different to a bunch of 21 year olds in a weworks office dreaming up the next cocktail drink! It’s a joke!
