Welcome to the award-winning* Blossoms Pubcast, recorded live with band members Tom, Charlie, Josh, Joe and Myles from The Blossoms pub on the A6 in Stockport. Each week, the lads greet you into their local for a swift half, top laugh and all kinds of rum malarkey. There's tall tales, sound advice, crank calls, and the ‘Sixth Blossom’ - Charlie's Granddad John. It's a bit like Cheers... but set in Shaw Heath rather than Boston. Enjoy!

I proper love Blossoms

It was autumn 2016, when I first heard Charlamagne on the radio-- I was blown away-- and I've been a fan ever since. For me Blossoms have broken through the largely bland pop/rock music output of 2010s: Blossoms' songs have anthemic choruses, catchy verses laced with imaginative lyrics and complemented by rich instrumentation. How songs should be.

They are a top bunch of lads too. This always comes across in interviews, and these podcasts galvanise this. The podcasts, or rather "pubcasts", are always a welcome listen: Whether it be the band's witty banter, droll whimsy, a healthy attitude towards peevish critics, or the telephone pranks. There are also unexpected gems, such as an early demo of (what would become) Charlamagne.

I met the guys in July after a gig at Leicester. I can confirm they really are like this in real life-- down-to-earth, affable, bright, hilarious and insanely talented. Long may they reign.

Weak Tea and Great Banter

What a effing revelation this is! Properly funny interplay between all the band and extended family and friends which has literally had me laughing out loud on my journey to work. Put this on TV and it would knock The Osbournes into a cocked hat. A truly Northern Powerhouse of talent. Top blokes, nuff said.
