Do you use clothing as a way to hide your body?

Are you tired of feeling insecure about the clothes you’re wearing?

Are you frustrated with all the wasted time and money spent on clothes you never wear?

I’m so glad you’re here. The Bold Faith and Fashion Podcast was created just for you! Here you will learn how to see your beauty through the eyes of Jesus, how to dress for your body type, and how to look stylish without sacrificing comfort.

Hi I’m Ashli Anna personal stylist, wife, girl mom, and Jesus-lover to my core. Like you I started my style journey confused about what I liked and way too focused on covering up the things I didn’t like about my body. I would spend money on things that didn’t compliment my figure. I would look in the mirror at these clothes that looked awesome on that girl I was inspired by on Pinterest but that looked “meh” on me.

This would start an internal dialogue of negative self talk and yes, sometimes a few tears about how I looked and felt about myself. As a woman of faith, I realized that I was wasting precious time and money and that I was basing my beauty standards on something external rather than someone eternal. It was time to discover and embrace my unique beauty and to place my identity and self-worth in Jesus.

I’ve spent the last ten years learning about color, fit, texture, design, accessorizing, and outfit formulation. After styling 1000s of women online and in person I’ve discovered how to help women find the clothes they love so they can quickly get dressed and confidently focus on the kingdom work God has for them that day. And now I’m going to share all my styling trade secrets with you!

I’ll be doing all of this through the lens of scripture so brace yourself, momma, because we’re going to tear down the lies the world has made you believe about what makes you beautiful! Get ready to embrace a Christ-Centered body image and find out what clothes look best on YOU. Grab your coffee, throw your hair up in a messy bun, and let’s get you dressed!

The topic of #selfcare is a popular one especially among beauty influencers though the concept of self care isn’t limited to beauty. The phrase “self care isn’t selfish” is a statement that morphed from the original two word phrase “self-care” in the early 20th century when self-care was specifically correlated with taking care of your health. But is taking care of your health what “self care” means now? And as working Christian momma’s who wear many hats with several demands on our time is the idea of self care even biblical?Tune in today to find out.

96| Is Modesty Culture in the Church Toxic? Biblical Beauty Summer Series Episode 1

Modesty is a touchy topic for some especially in the context of church and the western culture we live in. In today's podcast I attempt to define modesty by comparing biblical modesty to cultural modesty. Tune in to hear what it means to be modest as a working Christian mom and why it's important to allow the Holy Spirit to judge and convict us and others.
