Book Reading (part 2/2): The Queendom Within by Heidi Hauer - Episode 32 | English The Heidi Hauer Podcast

    • Self-Improvement

In this episode I am reading step 17 and 26 from Part 3 (PREPARE FOR THE SHOW) and Part 4 (PLAY IT FOR REAL):

Part III: Prepare for the Show

Being yourself when you’re alone is nice, but if that’s the only time you’re authentic, it’s neither sustainable nor will it substantially change your life.To build an inner world and an outer world that you actually want to live in, your actions have to match your aspirations. In this part, you’ll start to understand how your current relationships and environments are influencing you. You’ll see who and what is taking up your energy or lowering your confidence, and where your behaviour isn’t exactly mirroring your true self or wants. This is all about standing firmly in your power. Are you ready? Of course you are!

Part IV: Play it for Real

While Part III was mainly about awareness, Part IV will guide you to step up and step out as your true self into the world. This is where you’ll learn about boundaries and protection. There are two reasons why this part is a make-or-break for the entire programme. First, you need to shine your own light again. If you are around people who dim your light, whether they’re conscious of it or not, you’ve prob- ably started to only share the smallest version of yourself with the world in order to stay safe. In this case, shining your light, even though others might not always approve of it, is the learning opportunity here. Second, you need to learn to sustain that light. Building up a life that is fulfilling and nurturing takes time and focus, especially at the beginning of your conscious creation journey. Being clear about your boundaries as you engage and interact constructively with others is not a task for one weekend, it’s a life-long practice. So, in Part IV, you’ll be doing what can often feel scary: being seen and heard as you set clear boundaries. Be brave, be loving and be kind to yourself as you venture out into a new life. These steps won’t be easy, but neither is hiding in the shadows. I would even say, it’s easier to take little coura- geous steps over the next few weeks than to let yourself be boxed or pushed by others into a life that doesn’t feel like yours.

If you do the exercises, please reach out to me and let me know how it goes.
