Huge fan of this podcast, so much so that I subscribed to the Patreon in order to get hold of more episodes. Like the best movie review podcasts, in this case I don’t think you even need to see the films the host Stevie and his guests are discussing; a perfect alchemy of films of the sort and of the era being discussed means nothing is lost by hearing them talked about. Stevie and his guests are hilarious and it’s a joy to listen to them. In particular, the “Mates of Hell” strand on Patreon (discussing evermore obscure films by Lucio Fulci) and the “Dream Warriors” episodes (featuring Mike Muncer and Becky Darke) are a delight. Highly recommended!
Absolute trash. I love it!

Such a fun podcast! Stevie’s an infectiously enthusiastic host; guests always bring something interesting; and the films are always well chosen. Some are “so bad they’re good,” of course, but there are loads of genuinely brilliant little gems lurking in the darkness. A splendid celebration of the weird!
The Best of the Worst

Over the past few years, I’ve found myself more and more drawn to the world of horror and have been consuming all my old favourites as well as searching out films I hadn’t seen before. This led to me stumbling across the fantastic treasure trove that is Brain Rot. Stevie and this amazing podcast have pointed me at films I’d never in a million years have stumbled across by myself from Razorback to New Years Evil and The Video Dead. I love the passion Stevie has for these films and the guests are always fantastic whether they’re seasoned veterans or complete newbies! I’ve enjoyed it so much I’m now a fully fledged and proud member of the rotters club for the past 2 years so thank you Stevie and long live the rot!
