Ep 6 - Brass Banding in Lockdown - Anxiety and Supporting Better Mental Health

Today on the Brass on the Mind Podcast I’m talking about banding in lockdown and in particular dealing with missing the music which is good for our wellbeing and soul, missing the human connection and how to manage and support the anxieties that face us in the climate of a global pandemic.

Now is a really important time to be aware of the signs of mental ill health, so I chat about some of the ways we can become more savvy about mental health.

For details of my new online mental health awareness course visit www.modefor.co.uk

    Grab a cuppa and enjoy.

Mad Soprano player ,

Well worth hearing!

This series of Podcasts get to the nub of mental health in Brass Bands.
Tabby's gentle approach, coupled with her experience in banding and as a mental health first aider make these essential listening for bandspeople all associated with the movement.
Her guests each have valuable insights that contribute hugely to our understanding.
As a brass player who has had lifelong battles with mental ill health, I strongly recommend this series!

PS Not just for brass banders, but for musicians of all kinds who make their music with others.
