Hi Pitbull. Not much in a name is there Brian. Pitbull, WR Number 1 you know the sort of thing but we’re fond of them anyway. Funny how for years it’s been the accepted thing that New Zealand has been No 1 and when Wales had their moment in the limelight people were getting very hot under the collar at this ‘bizarre system’. Sure we all had a chuckle about it. Bit like that time somebody threw Mike Phillips a quick line out with the wrong ball and he raced in to score. Got way with one there. Or when BB kicked the ball forward to make his penalty kick easier and this draw the game with SA. Funny you didn’t mention that to Fitz or Bob Skinstad. Or does it mean NZ weren’t really No 1 all those years under this daft system. Of course not.
One other thing last week you interviewed somebody from the England Women’s team. Fair play to them but couldn’t you at least have mentioned the lack of a level playing field with only a few professional teams? Love the pod by the way. You bring a very even handed and technical dimension to the rugby discussion. Well done.

Informative Insight

Great contributions from Bobby Skinstad and Tom May ; well balanced views which whet the appetite for the forthcoming World Cup.

Excellent quality commentary

For me this podcast brings on the best experts and commentators. Always covers the most current stories within rugby like the recent change to naming male and female world rugby. Like how level headed the conversation is - lots of straight talking and straight to the point always. As a female rugby fan have appreciated the focus on the female game too.
