Can I Just Say? A Podcast about The Apprentice Can I Just Say?
-
- TV & Film
-
Stuart McPherson, Gemma Flynn, and Siobhain Ma discuss popular BBC1 television programme The Apprentice.
-
Week Twelve - The Final
It’s the final episode so ALL THREE of the Can I Just Say Team are here to discuss the merits of piesonline versus a northern nightclub gym metaverse. Great to see the return of former candidates, allowing opportunities for the mention of multiple directors as well as one final shout out to Apprentice main character Steven Spielsberg.
-
Week Eleven - Interviews
ALL THREE hosts return this week to grill the interviewers grilling the contestants on their business plans (strictly WITHOUT props).
This week’s pod is best enjoyed by printing out the transcript, making a jazzy cover for it on Canva and reading whilst preparing a smoothie or on a treadmill. -
Weeks Nine and Ten - TV Selling / Vegan Alternative to Cheese
We're back with a double stuffing special covering ALL TWO of the episodes we’ve not yet discussed. Sadly no G this week but Sio and Stu are holding it down as they analyse two eps that prove Lord Sugar is still at the precipice of cutting edge innovations - making vegan cheese and trying to sell paddling pools on live telly. Much love to all of our cherished listeners who are always cool, not definitely Japanese.
-
A message from ALL THREE
Hello cherished listeners! A quick message to let you know the current state of CIJS.
-
Week Eight - XBUS Advertising
CIJS is back after an unexpected interlude (sometimes in life there is situations). Please enjoy as Stu and Gemma cover the Apprentice circling back once again to the topic of electric vehicles, a rarely seen self-scorning and a RIP to legendary candidate Noor.
-
Weeks Six and Seven - Cereal / Budapest Tourism
Join us for a double stuffing of episodes this week as we enjoy two cereals before an early flight to Budapest. Listeners can play along by drinking one wine thief for every mention of Steven Spielberg.
Customer Reviews
Hilarious commentary
I discovered this podcast by accident last year and was so glad to see they are doing it again this year - it’s unmissable for apprentice fans! Very funny commentary on the episode. I’m currently working my way through the back catalogue of episodes
Badly produced and late
I was really excited when I discovered this podcast but it’s actually so disappointing.
Firstly, the sound is tinny and old school which is incredibly off putting. Sounds like someone had literally put it together in my garage as a school project.
Secondly, it’s about a fortnight out of date?! The content is so out of doubt I’ve forgotten about the episode they’re talking about by the time it’s released. Obviously no one is expecting it to be the next day, but this is at least two weeks behind and it’s never mentioned?
Thirdly, so much of the show you’re here to talk about gets passed by. And the discussion doesn’t have a lot of a journey. It works a trillion times better with just two of you. With 3, it’s rendered almost pointless. It’s more difficult to follow than listening to teenagers on a bus.
Brilliant banter
Can’t wait for this to appear on my playlist each week. Great fun.
