Episode 017 - Johnathan Ball
On this weeks episode of the Charlie Charlie One Podcast I sit down with the man who has the responsibility of growing and guiding our charity and seeing that we always improvise, adapt and overcome any challenges that stand in our way to ensure we’re always primed and ready to help any member of the Royal Marines Family that find themselves in a time of need, our very own CEO Mr Johnathan Ball.

Episode 016 - Scott Booth
Sometimes with these Podcasts there’s no real agenda, we just want to get interesting guests on who can tell a good story and on occasion offer some words of wisdom and advice.
Today’s guest Scott Booth is a former Royal Marine who has experienced a lot of the same highs and lows as many other RM’s before him, what I took away from our chat is that actually when transitioning into civvy street all of those emotions and feelings you experience are perfectly normal and personally I think it’s very comforting to hear that from someone else who’s already been through it.
Make sure you stay tuned through to the end with this one as Scott has a very quirky story to finish up with.
Episode 015 - Becci Pariss (2)
In today's episode we welcome back our Employment & Education Manager, Becci Parriss to talk about a subject that isn't particularly cheery, but is something during this time that we all may have to consider and take seriously and that's preparing for the possibility of unemployment.
As always Becci is full of sage advice to help and guide our listeners and is always contactable should you have any questions or need any support: firstname.lastname@example.org
Episode 014 - Becci Pariss
Today I'm sitting down with Becci Pariss. Becci is the wife of a serving Royal Marine and the manager of the Employment and Education cell here at RMA - The Royal Marines Charity.
In this first episode we talk about Becci's own experience and knowledge within the field of employment and education as well as the services they provide and who they provide them for.
In the future I'll be sitting back down with Becci to talk in a lot more detail about the specific services they provide within the Employment and Education team, but for now I hope you enjoy the intro.
Episode 013 - The Bootneckettes
The Bootneckettes started as a small group of Royal Marines wives and girlfriends who got together to raise money for us here at RMA - The Royal marines Charity. However that small group quickly grew and evolved into a much larger organisation called The Royal Marines WAG's Support Group. who exist to help, support and empower the partners serving and retired Royal Marines.
In this episode of the Charlie Charlie One Podcast I speak with two of the groups original members, Gaby Applegate and Jenny Robey about where it all started and where the group is at now.
Having left the corps 20+ years ago, it is great to listen to up to date info on retired Royal Marines. Great work Mark. Would be good to listen to any retired RM Buglers you could interview 🤪 it just gets better and better Mark, BZ Royal
Engaging, insightful, inspirational. A privilege to listen to. Thankyou.
