This amazing case control publication identified that forward head posture influences sensori-motor integration and athletic functional skills tests. Specifically, as the FHP increases, athletic skill test performance is altered negatively. We identified an increased in Time on the T-test, a decreased vertical leap, decreased static and dynamic balance in persons with increasing FHP -

Nonsurgical reduction of thoracic hyper kyphosis in a 24 year old teacher using CBP Technique
In this video, the successful rehabilitation of a thoracic hyperkyphosis is presented in a female patient with chronic pain and impairment. If left untreated, hyperkyphosis can relate to a number of health related disorders including back pain, disability, mobility, falling, reduced lung volume, and other impairments. Chiropractic BioPhysics is a technique that incorporates specific mirror image (r) postural exercises, adjusting techniques, and traction techniques to improve spine alignment.
