Brexiteer Insights

Hosted by the genial Christopher Hope, this is a useful and interesting podcast as Brexiteers are given plenty of space and time to explain their view of the world. Hope does however have a bit of a problem with the BBC (especially Brexitcast) and moans about license fee payers money being spent on it. This is a bit unfair as Brexitcast is a very good source of news and analysis and (frankly) Choppers isn't. He rigorously toes the line of the Telegraph's owners (billionaire tax dodgers). His questions are softball, he often suggests an answer to his guests before he's even finished asking the question, and he rarely challenges an answer or follows up. There is never, ever, any sense that Brexit might be actually quite difficult.

There's plenty of fawning over Farage and the Brexit Party and never any questioning of their aggressive behaviour or the racists in their ranks or tricky questions about their finances. So, useful if you need to know what Brexiters are thinking, or need to pick up some gentle (gentle to the point of "sensual massage...") interviewing techniques for the next time you need to boost some deluded fool's ego.

Anyway good luck to Christopher who seems like a nice guy, and I imagine that all this relentless bootlicking will at some point result in a nomination for a safe Conservative seat.
