John Shulman is entering his first season as the Head Men's Basketball Coach at The University of Central Arkansas. In his previous five seasons at the helm of the University of Alabama Huntsville, Shulman posted a record of 112-39 and led the Chargers to five consecutive D2 NCAA tournament berths. Overall, Shulman has a career coaching record of 257-185.
Shulman also served as the head coach at Tennessee Chattanooga from 2004 to 2013. While at Chattanooga, the Mocs earned two D1 NCAA tournament appearances following a pair of Southern Conference championships. The second winningest coach in Chattanooga history, Shulman also won four SoCon North Division championships.
In 2005, he was named as the top collegiate coach in Tennessee thanks to a season that included a NCAA tournament berth and Chattanooga’s first win in 80 years over in-state foe Tennessee.
Prior to taking over the top spot at Chattanooga, Shulman served as the team’s associate head coach from 2002 to 2004, and that came after stints as an assistant at Wofford, Tennessee Tech, and East Tennessee State.

David Vogel is entering his third season as a Men's Basketball Assistant Coach at Ohio Wesleyan University. Vogel came to Ohio Wesleyan from Wittenberg University, where he served as an Assistant Men's Basketball Coach from 2020 - 2022.
David began his coaching career at Texas Christian University where he was a graduate assistant for 2 seasons and helped the Horned Frogs to a 23-14 record and a National Invitation Tournament semifinal appearance during the 2018-19 season.
Vogel is a 2018 graduate of DePauw University, where he was a 4-year letterman in basketball. During his undergraduate career, he helped the Tigers win the North Coast Athletic Conference tournament in 2015 and was a 3-time academic all-conference selection.

Greg White will begin his first season as the Boys’ Basketball Head Coach at Thaden School in Bentonville, Arkansas this winter after leading Bentonville West High School for 8 years, compiling a 133-97 record. Greg has more than two decades of coaching experience and has won more than 250 games as a head coach. He has been a featured speaker at numerous USA Basketball Coach Academies as well as a member of the coaching staff at the Snow Valley Basketball Camp in Iowa.

Jake Boyd is entering his second season as an Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at Eureka College (IL). Previously Jake coached for Illinois State University’s Laboratory School, University High School in Normal, IL for four seasons from 2019-2023. Jake also works in player development for Handle University and coaches AAU basketball for Beyond Ball Basketball both based in Des Moines, Iowa. Jake began his coaching career with youth basketball programs in Iowa and Illinois after playing college basketball at Dana College (NE).

Tyler Coston is the Founder of Savi Performance. On this episode we talk with Tyler about shooting for beginners, action based player development, and Lock Left Defense. He is known as a thought leader in player development, curriculum creation and teaching methodology. Tyler spent 13 years providing leadership as Director of Basketball Development for PGC Basketball. Tyler coached the women’s basketball team at Trinity Western University from 2005-2007, while simultaneously running a skills-development program that produced five Division I (USA) athletes. In 2007, he accepted a position as an Assistant Coach at Portland State University. During his first year at Portland State, the Vikings won the Big Sky Conference with an overall record of 23-8. After Portland State captured the Big Sky Conference tournament, they went on to the NCAA Tournament where they lost to the eventual 2008 champions, the Kansas Jayhawks.
