Reflections and laughter with Mali Davies - A Creative light episode
Margaret catches up with Mali Davies at this year's Creative Light Festival to get his insights to the weekend.
Describing the experience as transformative and unique, he explains how he has never seen the beautiful Autumn colours in quite this way before. It was sensory overload!
Meeting with like-minded people, face-to-face, in such circumstances was almost surreal to him. Listen whilst he recalls 'dancing with Joe Cornish" and chatting with Sean Tucker,
Moving on, they chat about the benefits of play and the amount of fun and cries of laughter enjoyed by all. It is so important to 'let go and play'.
Mali tells us his highlights from the Festival and how the biggest message he took away from it is 'togetherness' - nobody wanted to leave this 'huddle' of minds! Margaret took away kindness, community, gratitude and appreciating every day.
Finally, we are given an insight into both Margaret and Mali"s plans for next year.

Thoughts on generosity and sharing with Joe Cornish at the Creative light festival
I am talking with the amazing Joe Cornish, a landscape photographer known for his woodland images at this years creative light festival. Joe gave a talk and led some outdoor workshops during the festival and it was his spirit of kindness and generosity that really grabbed me. We also talk about how community and connection can inspire and influence our creative process, a concept embodied at the Creative Light Festival.
Talking through the importance of gratitude and generosity in our creativity. It was a real honour to spend time with Joe Cornish.

Customer Reviews
I love this podcast
Margaret’s words are so encouraging and inspiring and the background noises of the sea, birds, sheep or fire crackling are just so incredibly soothing. If I’m having a day where creating feels hard work and draining, listening to this relaxes and reassures me.
Balancing Music, Creativity and Career with Eric Hemion
This was thought- provoking and as I listened I gained some clarity about what it is that I am trying to do as a creative, a mentor, and an inhabitant of our planet. I ended up scribbling notes to myself. The style was relaxed, helping me to allow my thinking to wander and then dragging me back to listen to other pertinent comments.
Quiet Landscapes with Margaret Soraya
This is such a gentle and inspiring podcast which I have been listening to since near the start. The conversations are always interesting, varied and I can take something from every one. The latest with Eric Hemian was one of my favourites.
This podcast is both inspiring and encouraging - would recommend for anyone interested in creativity and finding your own authentic style, with a dash of humour and realism thrown in.
