Customer Reviews
Episode 49 was brilliant!
I’m a total Chen-o-phille so take this with a grain of salt; but I freaking love this podcast. Listening to David Chen’s pandemic updates have been really emotional and eye-opening... and the interview episodes are fantastic.
Episode 49 (Exploring the world of sound - a topic to be honest I wasn’t really interested in,) in particular was super insightful and interesting. I never write podcast reviews but I could not not write one after listening to that episode. If I could give 6 stars I would 🤩
More Chen is always welcome
Been listening to Dave for 10 years speaking about everything from War Horse to Icelandic Dick Museums and I’ll gladly do it for another 10
Meaningful And Personal
I’ve been listening to David on the Slashfilmcast for a few years now. Dave opinions in particular, tend to closely mirror mine, so I thought I’d give his new podcast a listen.
I’ve been impressed with the wide variety of guests he’s had on, all of whom bring thoughtful and knowledgeable opinions on meaningful subjects.
What I’m impressed at more is how it always remains a very personal and intimate show. David is inquisitive and is very generous conversationally, which is a huge part of this. But it’s clear that Dave cares a lot about the topics he’s discussing and has given a lot thought into the subject matter that surrounds each guest’s work or expertise.
More of this kind of stuff!
Sam.
