Chauvin Verdict, Anti-Blackness in Schools, Abolition, and Setting Boundaries
Episode 90. Your favorite hosts discuss the Derek Chauvin being found guilty on all three accounts, but have a larger conversation around how Black kids and people engage in dealing with state sanctioned violence. We discuss Adam Toledo and Ma'Khia Bryant, but even delve into how this affects Black and brown kids in education, developmentally, and more. We also discuss our own journey with abolition and seeing where we fall into those different aspects. We end the episode off with setting up some boundaries and things that are bringing us some joy.
