Couch to 80k is fantastic

Tim’s 8 week writing course is a wonderful journey that can take you from nerves and doubt to remembering the enjoyment of writing.

He is funny, compassionate and relatable throughout, but with enough of a challenge to feel like I had a little nudge in my back every time I was starting to slack a little.

Can’t wait to delve into the rest of the podcast.

Thanks Tim!

Constant source of inspiration

I love Tim’s energy, honesty and knowledge. Whenever I feel that familiar dip of confidence and purpose, I crack on with a non-writing, usually manual labour-type task with a Tim Clare podcast plugged into my lugholes. 9 times out of 10, by the end of the episode, I feel excited to get back to the writing. These podcasts got me through my recent creative writing dissertation (aka my first ever novel, go me) and will be invaluable when I come to the restructure and line edits. And they also help you feel connected to the wider writing community, which we solitary soul-scribes often need more than we think we do. Subscribe, it’s good.

Hilarious, Educational, Supportive

What a wonderful teacher and entertainer Tim Clare is. I wanted to follow the 8 week (10 mins a day) course, and by the third lesson I picked up a really good technique - and I have an MA in creative writing.

Then I listened to an episode where he edits someone’s work. He made me roar with laughter! (I hope Tim doesn’t read this because that last sentence was a shameless cliche).

It’s good for beginners and more experienced writers. Also good for readers who want to expand their reading skill.

Fab author interviews too.
