    [UNLOCKED] Black Lodge/White Noise

Marking the fifth anniversary of the death of David Bowie with a trip into the Patreon archives.
What the heck-damn happened to The Thin White Spook after he bounces out of Gordon Cole's office in Fire Walk With Me?
Although our Bob failed to predict a certain kettle-metamorphosis, the themes and method here stand up pretty well...

[UNLOCKED] The Bookhouse Bloke: What about BOB?

[UNLOCKED] The Bookhouse Bloke: What about BOB?

A free episode marking the holy week of Deep Christmas and the end of 2021. It's Mark Frost's the Secret History of Twin Peaks and the point where speculative prehistory melts into that TV show you like.

Apologies for the sound quality issues. Expect:

    • Welsh Americans, petty poets and the tiny giants of Moundville
    • The hidden illuminati plot against Merriwether Lewis
    • The oratorical genius and historical tragedy of Hinmatóowyalahtq̓it
    • Liver-Eating Leo Johnson

    The Waiting Room

    The Waiting Room

The town of Twin Peaks rests on a deeper landscape of red curtains, chevrons and an atmosphere of expectancy, desire and danger. What is the space that sits behind normal life, and once we’re there, how do we leave?

A Wicked Voice ,

The best Twin Peaks podcast

Rosie, Adam, Mark and Bob have such incredible knowledge of the programme, and their discussions are always full of insight, as well as being incredibly funny. Essential listening for any Twin Peaks fan!

Essential Twin Peaks listening

Not only is this a brilliant, witty, engaging and highly intelligent podcast about one of the most seminal shows ever made; it is also something that you can revisit over and over in the same way you would an audiobook about the show.

The episodes are always thoughtfully constructed, entertaining and insightful throughout and you can listen to the entire series in sequence from the very first one and always find something new or interesting to think about.

It’s 100% essential to listen to alongside any rewatch but also highly enjoyable to engage with whenever, because the team are genuinely so knowledgable and passionate about the show that you cannot help but be excited and intrigued all over again.

I listen to a lot of podcasts and have listened to all of the Twin Peaks ones out there and this is the best one hands down as well as being the one I just go back to for comfort listening over and over. It’s genuinely superb.

Illogical Volume ,

Single-handedly rescued my ability to engage with popular culture

That’s it. That’s the review.
