RachMUK ,

Written with thanks

I want to say thank you to Stacie, Meghan and their guests.

My family is not ultra picky or difficult - totally normal - but to me the meal planning, negotiating and shopping had begun to feel like my worst chore of the week. And yet I historically loved cooking and having people over.

I’ve been listening to the back catalogue, not with any aim in mind, and the result has been that I’ve heard new ways to refresh old habits and menus, methods to refresh my pantry, freezer and fridge, and ideas of how to introduce new foods to my kids. Love the nachos episode and tried some other sea with baked tortillas, which my family loved.

I now look at meal planning as a creative exercise again, and in the last two weeks we’ve taken some positive steps forward in expanding what we enjoy eating together. Cooking is beginning to feel like a hobby again, and I usually have this podcast on in the background, while I’m in the kitchen.

Rita Camilo ,

I love this podcast!

I love cooking and I love eating, so it makes sense to listen to this podcast although I’m not a busy parent, or a parent at all, yet.
I’m portuguese, lived many years in England and I’m now in Saudi Arabia. The food I grew up eating was traditional and simple portuguese food, and although I’ve, throughout the years, been exposed to different ways of cooking and eating the reality of food in the USA was mostly unknown to me.
So, I find it fascinating and truly entertaining to listen to DIJFY, usually when I’m cooking or food prepping, learning about food and getting some new ideas. Thank you :-)
