A podcast from two obsessive Sheffield Wednesday fans, we felt the world needed another couple of cisgender white guys sharing their opinion - so you are welcome. We’ll discuss news and performances and meander into other bits and bobs that we find interesting. There will be themed episodes and hopefully we’ll all have fun and find that the real podcast, was the podcast, that we podcasted along the way.

Love at first Cruyff turn/We never learnt our lesson

A weekly look at all things Sheffield Wednesday - news, views, boardroom politics and the all important performances on the pitch. Bringing some levity to life as a Wednesdayite, enjoying the highs and only occasionally wallowing in the lows. The 150th episode (and last) of Different Gravy has a special treat with the Boys decreeing their Favourite and Worst XIs from their Wednesday-watching careers in one of the chunkiest episodes yet. We also cover best and worst manager, break hoo-hoos for the last time, and thank the many sweet people who have sent sweet and lovely messages in. And yet there is still more that happens! Further episode notes: Also thanks to Samuel Gleadall for the intro suggestion and enjoy the alternative theme tune done by DJ Millstar. Forgive the emotions and blubbering in this episode as we for the last time give our love letter to Sheffield Wednesday. We have loved making the show and we dearly thank you for listening. WAWAW www.differentgravypod.co.uk differentgravypod@gmail.com

Bringing some levity to life as a Wednesdayite, enjoying the highs and only occasionally wallowing in the lows. Part two of our exploration of the extended Gravy Podimatic Universe. A sit down with probably the most mentioned non-Wednesday player in the history of the podcast, the oft quoted 'Suz' AKA Rich's little sister Suzanne. Tales of mostly bad Wednesday sides, sitting with the opposition fans and being left dumbstruck by the multi-positioned Scot that is Lee Bullen. There's also a big announcement at the end. WAWAW Stay Safe www.differentgravypod.co.uk differentgravypod@gmail.com

A look ahead to next season with the Retained List in-hand. There's an emphasis on necessary recruitment (lots of it) and how bright we feel our prospects might be. It’s Strange What Desire Will Make Foolish People Do

A weekly look at all things Sheffield Wednesday - news, views, boardroom politics and the all important performances on the pitch. Bringing some levity to life as a Wednesdayite, enjoying the highs and only occasionally wallowing in the lows. This episode is the final part of the Different Gravy 21/22 player ranking trilogy. Join us as we tune this radio all the way from NML to FML (Lewis Wing), getting all judgey-wudgey on every station (player) we come across. We also end up with more pithy awards with Luke's Mount Rushmore faces of reinvention and the most disastrous signing of the year. Then we finally cast judgment on everyone's second-favourite Big Dave, Darren Mark Moore. WAWAW Stay Safe www.differentgravypod.co.uk differentgravypod@gmail.com

Bringing some levity to life as a Wednesdayite, enjoying the highs and only occasionally wallowing in the lows. Part deux of the 21/22 Season Review AKA giving the Wednesday players gold stars or a stern telling off. In this episode, which is an atypically tight hour in length, we cover Dunkley through to Action Mass. Don't worry, we can't forget the heady times of Andre Green and we also mention Wednesday players by their full government names for s***s and giggles. WAWAW Stay Safe www.differentgravypod.co.uk differentgravypod@gmail.com

Perfect for me

Always look forward to listening to this on a Sunday night. It’s the perfect combination for me of humour and an in depth look at the games/news of the week. Always really enjoyed some of the different things they have done over summers/lockdowns etc. Great podcast.

Lockdown Lotion

Absolutely love this podcast, such a pleasure to listen each week. The lads’ combination of good humour, detailed analysis and passion for the club has helped ever so much in getting us through this godawful season. Fantastic musical edition recently, v funny, many thanks! UTO
