This pod started so well - I loved the recapping of eps but with the spin of focus on the funeral home operations & service. The early casts were terrific, with great input from host victor (a licensed funeral director). However, as the S1 casts went on, the host started bringing on ‘special guests’ who progressively had less and less to do with funeral care and were simply woke mouthpieces, seemingly flogging a book or alternative cast. The final straw was the ep with the Huffpost writer. Nope, I don’t need that sorta virtue signalling on a pod about an older dramedy show from the early noughties. It’s a shame. The host has such a wonderful premise for how to present this pod on 6FeetUnder, but that all went to the side when he decided to bring on buddies to talk with. It was better when he was solo presenting. I quit listening in S1 eo13. Maybe victor gets back to basics at some point, but I doubt it. I’ll not listen further. When you lose a listener, they’re gone buddy...like in the death capsules in the show.
