Great Podcast, Shame about the out of date ad.

This is an excellent podcast, but is totally let down by the Ad midway through which talks about "2016 has been disgnated the year of the SME - are you ready?" - Ready for what, 2016? Of course I'm ready. It's 2017 now so we've all missed it! Wake up people. It just makes you look out of touch or desperate (or both) Don't you listen back to your stuff. Please, please sort it out before it drives me mad.
Otherwise keep up the good owrk.

Brexiteer presenter avoids the real issues

This used to be an interesting podcast, covering the impact of Brexit on actual businesses in more detail than is common. However the latest incarnation with Digby Jones is so odd in its outlook that it feels almost like propaganda. He talks to a number of businesses, and discusses how they are dealing with the approaching end of the transition period, and how they are trying to minimise the risks to their businesses, for example by stockpiling, or finding non-UK suppliers, or moving manufacture to an EU subsidiary to supply their EU customers. Most of the businesses thought they could survive, although they were worried about the current uncertainty. However, as a commited Brexiteer, Digby never once asked whether these companies anticipated any benefits from Brexit - or whether there was anything they could do post post-Brexit that they could not do from within the EU. Given that most of the program was about damage limitation strategies, it seems unlikely that any benefits would be significant, but it would have been interesting to hear their thoughts. Unfortunately Digby is not a credible presenter in this context, and this issue needs someone who is willing to delve into the real issues, rather than glossing over them - particularly given the name of the Podcast.

Usually interesting

It’s good to hear the various Times correspondents in person. This is a topical podcast and needs to be listened to within a week. Unfortunately spoilt by the occasional inclusion of adverts.
