Diksha Chakravarti - Fix Me - Ep. #60 Speak With Simon

Diksha is Director of FiXme, based in the Thames Valley. For over 20 yrs, she has worked as a Chronic Pain and Stress Therapist, freeing people from being prisoners of pain; she has helped more than 800 clients in this time. 

She also delivers Stress Management Workshops where she uses her extensive clinical expertise, experience and knowledge to help people maintain their Wellbeing at work. 

Diksha’s family were victims of Uganda’s 1972 exodus, so she has first hand experience of the stresses of becoming a refugee and having to negotiate challenging cultural landscapes. She uses these stories to inform and empower others and to help build resilience. 

Diksha is an avid blogger, has published articles and is a regular guest on BBC Radio Berkshire. She lives with her 93 year old mother in Berkshire, UK, and has 2 wonderful daughters. 

Climbing mountains, playing tennis and drawing horses are her favourite pastimes. Diksha is also an author – she has contributed a chapter in a book entitled The New Woman – stories of the kintsugi experience. These stories are written by women who have withstood severe challenges and traumas in life to become strong and resilient. The New Woman is available on Amazon.
