The crew were all chillin’ on a cold winters night, when one of Santas Elves knocked the door and asked if he could nip in for a piss as he was a bit worse for wear…. the fire was burning bright and the posse let him in… the Elf popped into the smallest room and pointed percy at the porcelaine… following which, with the magic of Christmas… he burped, said thanks and popped a tape into the JVC boombox on the mantelpiece by the stockings for the crew… he pressed play, yelled Merry Christmas and buggered off into the snow… no one knew his name, but someone could hear the words “C is for speed of light” as he got back into Santas sleigh… the tape played and thankfully we manahed to bring that recording to you all on this Christmas week!!!! A massic Yo Ho Ho to all, peace, love, light & unity to you all!!!

After preparing a deeply philosophical, intelligent, well thought out and interesting views at ten, I set that on fire and ranted about how we are ripped off by the way that things are set up in our society.  If only we would all gel together to cause change.  ULEZ for example.  What a bunch of wank.  It’s just a pocket liner.  If no one paid it, they can’t go after everyone can they?! More moaning (probably) Next week!!

What a pleasure it was to have the company of one of the most accomplished cut paste and Scratch DJs The UK has ever produced. I have followed DJ Yoda since I first knew of him in the 90s. He has been consistently one of the top DJs in this country and able to cross the boundaries between Hip Hop and practically every other genre and maintain his integrity. We discuss the landscape of DJing, where he started, what equipment he used, is using now and would like to see in the future.  a great catch up and I’m looking forward to seeing Yoda perform at various venues next year.

DSR200 Disco Scratch Radio 200th show with B Line Recordings artist MC Oliver Twist in interview.  I celebrated the 200th show by not preparing anything, forgetting to start at 9PM, having technical problems & not having the mic on at one point while talking.

Hello everyone, this is just a quick update as I couldn’t get a show done last week as I was away on holiday.  This week I streamed live for Polystylism & followed with LG for D4V.  A most excellent show where I discovered a label that has made me go down an expensive rabbit hole of record buying!  Cheers Mart!  Anyway.  Live show next week, Disco Scratch 200th, then ABU the week after then as traditional, a break for August, back in September… playlist in the comments… props to all those that joined us live for the show last night, it was fun!
