Distraction Therapy 057 - Rob and Ryan Discuss Metamodernism Distraction Therapy

    • Society & Culture

In this episode I chat with Ryan Clayton about our expectations for the coming year, and how we make sense of our experiences in relation to the creative work that we read, watch, listen to and view in our cultural lives. We are exploring what a metamodern approach to social life means, and how we can move on from our previous views we’ve acquired and learnt. Distraction can be both a destructive and a creative way of engaging with the world, but if we don’t hold conversations about what works and what doesn’t work for us, then we won’t be able to grow and adapt to the changing world.
