    Episode 98 Twin Dilemma Review

    Episode 98 Twin Dilemma Review
It's a very sad time at Target World towers and for Doctor Who fans worldwide as the King Of Target Novelisations Terrance Dicks has written his last chapter and gone to travel in the largest Tardis in the Universe.
Back on Terra Firma, Lee and Mike discuss Eric Saward's novel adaptation of his TV script for the debut of the Sixth Doctor. Will this tale from over three decades ago fair better for our hosts, than his recent adaptation of Resurrection Of The Daleks. That is up for discussion, whether they like it or not!
Our hosts also discuss their current recommendations from the world of media, including something highly inappropriate for such a cultured podcast which nearly has Mike gasping for gas and air.

Episode 97 Resurrection Of The Daleks & Jeff Cummins Interview
It's back to the Dystopian London of 1984 as seen on screen and now the page with Resurrection Of The Daleks this time on the Target Files. With the brutalism depicted within the new hardback and audiobook, Mike & Lee are not afraid to be brutal in discussion of this new adaptation from tv story writer Eric Saward. As a bonus in this episode, a recording of Mike being lucky enough to chat with Target Cover designing legend Jeff Cummins at London Film & Comic Con last month.

Episode 96 The Masque Of Mandragora Review
It's a multi target podcast host transatlantic episode this time as special guest Tony Whitt of the Doctor Who Target Book Club Podcast joins us to discuss The Masque Of Mandragora. Regular co-host Lee is stuck in the summer traffic and battling the flu so Mike and Tony begin the chat about Philip Hinchliffe's novelisation of the 4th Doctor TV Story. Lee joins the show later on as we also give our thoughts on the BBC Audiobook release performed by the late, great Tim Piggott Smith who made one of his appearances in TV Doctor Who in this story. Elsewhere come our media reviews, our thoughts on modern conventions and the latest Doctor Who news.

A great podcast with good banter between the hosts, they do stray off topic which is fine and gives the podcast a more friendly feel.

A good solid start to the new team on this podcast and a more varied analysis and critique of City Of Death than other stories Doctor Who Target Files has previously covered. Did stray off the main topic of the story being discussed somewhat but it's a minor criticism in an overall good change of direction for the show
