A book about why human beings find it so hard to navigate change, it could not have landed at a better time: when choice has been removed and major change forced upon us, by the pandemic. Doing It Right: Rutger Bregman

    Doing It Right: Rutger Bregman

Rutger Bregman is a Dutch historian with a radical new idea: what if human beings are not innately savage and selfish, but compassionate and kind? I talk to Rutger about his uplifting new book, Humankind; the difference between optimism and hope; and why we need to look beyond cultural myth to find the truth. I felt comforted and hopeful after speaking to Rutger - I hope you do, too. How Do We Know We're Doing It Right is out now in both hardback and audiobook, narrated by Pandora.

I love the genuine article ,

You’re doing it right!

Love the combination of hearing the perspective of the guest, but also Pandora’s views e.g her thoughts on nice and kind. I often find myself thinking about the things that Pandora talks about in articles or on The High Low but can’t articulate or organise them in my mind the way Pandora does, so I love hearing her summarised thoughts. I adore The High Low so much that I often have to make myself wait for the perfect time to listen to it, to make the most of the one a week episode, having two podcasts with Pandora will make my life easier!!

A must listen!

As a huge fan of the High Low I was so excited to hear that Pandora had decided to go it alone - and have not been disappointed. Fascinating guests (Sinead Burke was wonderful) and Pandora manages to get a really in depth and honest conversation going with each of them. It’s warm and cosy and perfect rainy British summer fodder!
