Double Skulls Podcast

It’s incredibly refreshing to hear people talk about how they are striving to improve at Blood Bowl. Fortuitously for those of us that enjoy the pod, John and John’s friend (who’s name we all forget) have a huge distance still to go, and as such, we will be swimming in podcasts for years to come. The podcast is much improved for being as regular as solar eclipses or moments of pleasure I afford your mother. As highly recommended as homo-hipster musings can be.

Despite their off air relationship being a modern version of Joan Crawford & Bette Davis’, Johnny & Dan manage to come together to create the kind of audio gold that Alan Partridge could only dream of. The erratic arrival of episodes provides an extra frisson of excitement. As unpredictable as the Spanish Inquisition. Also, it’s consistently the best BloodBowl listen out there.

Good advice, bad advice, it’s all enjoyable.

If I gave this Podcast 5 twinkles it would only add further grist to the ego mill, so a very good 4 twinkles it is. You have to have something to aim for. These guys love their BB and are happy to witter on about it for us (at great length sometimes 😉) and I like their easy chat style. That sounds like they go full Partridge, but indeed they are much less MoR. And they’re actually intelligible for midlanders. Sort your volume levels out though, please. Much love, Beanbag.
